MooKraTha to go

Delicious Thai food to take home!

Now enjoy MooKraTha at home!

MooKraTha means “pork and a hot pan”. It is known by other names in many countries such as Korea, Japan, China and Vietnam. However it is served in a similar way everywhere – different types of meat, vegetables, soup and sauces in an “iron hat”.

The origin of MooKraTha goes right back to the Mongolian times. As the Mongolian soldiers did not have cookware available they used their helmets to prepare food which was known as the “Mongol Ancient Military Hat”. From this, the modern equipment of today was developed.

With every kit, we will loan you the “MooKraTha-e-pan*” and you will receive detailed intructions.

We source our meat from the butcher Rass in Lofer and fresh eggs from Haus Dornach (Family Schmiderer) in Scheffsnoth/Lofer.

Please note the following:

  1. Before switching on, pour liquid into the soup channel. The electric pan must never be switched on without liquid.
  2. Plug in the electric pan and set the wheel on the side to level two. Then a red light appears - this means that the electric pan is switched on. Level two is recommended as this prevents the electric pan from getting too hot.
IMPORTANT: The electric pan must not be operated on the grill on level three without food being roasted!
  3. You can now start adding the vegetables and extras to the soup channel. It will be cooked and can then be eaten as a soup. Meat and fish can be fried as soon as the grill plate is hot. Of course you can also fry vegetables and extras or cook meat and fish in the soup.
  4. Please always use the wooden chopsticks or pliers provided to turn the food. Do not use metal cutlery, because it scratches the pan surface.

Cleaning and care instructions:

  1. Pull out the power plug and let the device cool down before cleaning.
  2. Use a paper towel to clean the temperature controller and grill housing.
  3. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects, petrol, solvents, scouring agents, brushes or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the grill housing, the temperature regulator, the grill pan or the electric pan accessories.
  4. When the pan is still slightly warm, it is best to clean it with a soft cloth, paper towel or soft sponge.
  5. Use a non-harsh washing-up liquid, warm water and a soft sponge.
  6. Use a soft cloth to wipe all components completely dry after cleaning.

ATTENTION: Never immerse the electric pan in water or other liquids!
